Parking in Taos

Random Parking on the Plaza. My suspicion is that this driver, who left the vehicle running (uses more gas that way) didn't understand the lines painted on the pavement.

In a hurry? Park in front of the parking meter, hoping that the parking meter won't be seen. Also hoping that opening the front door won't hit the meter. Also note that this driver parked facing the wrong direction on Civic Plaza Drive (aka Ila McAfee Drive).

The drivers of these two vehicles went to the same driving school and got mail order licenses. The fact that the Police Station is only 100 yards up the street doesn't faze these parkers.

UNM students? Or paying parking fines?
