Letters to Republicans

It's amazing how much hate has been spawned in the past 5 years, led by such as Elliott Abrams,    Gary Bauer    William J. Bennett, Jeb Bush Dick Cheney, Eliot A. Cohen, Midge Decter, Paula Dobriansky, Steve Forbes, Aaron Friedberg, Francis Fukuyama, Frank Gaffney, Fred C. Ikle Donald Kagan, Zalmay Khalilzad, I. Lewis Libby, Norman Podhoretz, Dan Quayle, Peter W. Rodman, Stephen P. Rosen, Henry S. Rowen, Donald Rumsfeld, Vin Weber, George Weigel, Paul Wolfowitz, Anne (the Man) Coulter, Bush.

All but the last two named above are the writers and planners of the Project For A New American Century which is the upgrade of Nuke Gingrich's "Contract on America", only this is about the world.

Interesting that Libby is already in way over his head.

Isn't it time to change the song and create some peace in the world?

It's time for all of you to resign and allow for real peacemakers to create real and lasting solutions to the problems that you have created.

Letter to Cal Thomas:

Cal Thomas is a writer who promotes the agenda of the far right.

Mr. Thomas is pro-Israeli and in his article was promoting the "Final Solution" of the Palestinians.

Dear Mr. Thomas;

I read with interest your article about how the Israelis must annihilate the opposition, a "Final Solution", if you will, if ever there is going to be peace in the mid-east.

Your final sentence, "The evil guys are fighting to win." is the source of the problem in the mid-east. It is that hate mongering that continues to cause problems there and throughout the world, and until we stop hating, we will always be slaughtering each other for the wrong reaons - as if there were any right reasons.

You also state that the USraelis must get over "moral equivalency and political correctness and fight to win. That is very much like the Nazis and the Fascists and the Bolsheviks and all the other totalitarian states that have existed on the planet for all of history. Slaughter all the enemy, no matter what the moral cost.

The USraelis are a major source of the problem in the mid-east. I use the term USraelis as we (the US) supplies Israel with 3 Billion dollars worth of "loans" each year, %75 used for military weapons, including nuclear weapons.

The "enemies" of Israel are cousins of the Israelis (read Genesis and the history of Abraham, a man who heard voices, almost sacrificed his son on an altar, and self-circumcised himself). In todays' world we would change that man's anti-psychotic meds and keep him under observation. Bush hears voices as well, and he should have his meds changed and be kept under observation and not allowed to make any more decisions. (God told me to attack Iraq.)

The Israelis have destroyed a huge part of the infrastructure of Lebanon (a Blitzkrieg, if you will) while suffering very little damage in their own areas.

I do speak with people out here in the world, outside of the beltway and New York, I have many Jewish and Arab and Muslim and Christian friends and the consensus is that this is a very dirty little war and both sides need to get a fair settlement of this long standing war.

You do not think that the UN is up to the challenge. The Final Arab Solution isn't going to work, either. The Final Solution has been tried both in Germany and Russia and the United States (the annihilation of the native Americans) and those attempts failed. The Nazis of Germany killed 12 million people in the camps, 1/2 of them Jews (as if they would ever let the world forget). Genocide is never the answer.

The hatred must stop. Your hate-mongering is not going to help solve the problem.
